Fresh off the release of his Hip Hop Frontline album, DJ Kay Slay keeps things rolling with another video.
After hitting us with one for “Danger” with Young Buck, Uncle Murda, Don Q, Trick Trick and Tony Yayo, the legendary DJ puts a spin on Ma$e, DMX, The LOX, and Black Rob’s classic “24 Hours” posse cut with a Hip Hop lifeline alongside Papoose, Bun B, Saigon, and Meet Sims.
“’24 Hours’ is a dedication to the legends that helped lay down the foundation of what Hip Hop is today,” Kay Slay told hhdx. “Although we are a part of a culture that does not like to pay homage or respect the history — it appears to just be a money grab for most — I always make it a point to never let what these brothers and sisters have done for us be in vain.”
Check out the Mo Shines-directed clip below.
