Gyakusou, the Nike Running collaboration led by Jun Takahashi, has been just as—if not more—prolific over the years than the designer’s Undercover sneakers. Soon, Takahashi’s performance line will add yet another model.
Picking up where February’s Zoom Pegasus Turbo collab left off, Gyakusou is set to deliver a new updated runner soon. This particular model appears to move away from the Pegasus Turbo base for a mesh-based upper with prominent overlays at the toe and medial sections. The former is coated with a synthetic material and printed with the phrase “Gyakusou went the distance,” while the medial side is filled in with a perforated suede. Further accenting the shoe is a rose graphic on the Swoosh. Returning from the Pegasus Turbo is an adjustable toggle lace system.
This currently unnamed Gyakusou x Nike runner is set to drop soon in red/navy and yellow-based colorways.
