The “Banned” Air Jordan 1 is one of the most iconic sneakers to ever release. While it has come back in various forms over the years paying homage to the 1985 original, it has been awhile since we have seen a retro release with its exact specifications.
According to @djfolk, the “Banned” Air Jordan 1 will be making a return in OG form for Black Friday 2019. That means that this upcoming version will feature the original cut and height of the ankle collar that has been slightly tweaked over the years. This retro release also reportedly has the largest production numbers of any Air Jordan 1 ever and sizes will be offered for the whole family.
Official images of the 2019 “Banned” Air Jordan 1 have yet to surface. Stay tuned as more updates become available regarding what is sure to be one of the most highly-anticipated releases of the year.
