Drake recently kicked off his European “Assassination Vacation” tour. During his March 13 stop in Paris, Drizzy hit the stage in a brand new colorway of the Nike Zoom Vomero 5.
The pair of the mid 2000s performance runner sports a majority black upper with infrared detailing streaking down each side panel. Subtle hits can also be seen on the outsole. Other details include a strap running down the laces and rubber Swoosh stamped on each side panel.
Nike’s unlikely retro’ing of the Zoom Vomero 5 started last year when A-Cold-Wall’s Samuel Ross brought back a redesigned version of the model with a giant heel piece for a special collaboration with the brand. Subsequent releases followed in simplistic black and white color schemes sans the bulky addition on each heel.
There is currently no word on this particular Nike Zoom Vomero 5 releasing, but it is possible it could be an exclusive for Drizzy much like the Air Max Plus he debuted during the American leg of his world in August 2018.
