Kith’s latest collaboration is with cult-favorite Japanese streetwear label Mastermind. Alongside a fairly extensive capsule of apparel, both brands have come together to create four pairs of Vans. This will be the first time Ronnie Fieg’s streetwear label has puts its spin on these skate shoes.
Three silhouettes will be up for grabs: the Sk8-Hi LX Zip, Old Skool LX, and OG Classic Slip-On. The Sk8-Hi LX Zip will be offered in black canvas and brown leather options with Mastermind’s signature skull and crossbones wrapping the collar, and zippers running up the heel. The Old Skool is also offered in a brown leather color scheme, but features Mastermind’s logo debossed into the side panel. For the Slip-On, a black upper features a co-branded monogram print on the toe and heel.
Each brown leather pair is accented with Sherpa liners and gold hardware, while the black pairs opt for a more tonal look with silver detailing. All four will have “Peace on Earth/World on Fire” debossed in a Gothic style font on the midsole.
The entire Kith x Mastermind x Vans collection will be available on Friday, Jan. 18 at 11 a.m. from Kith stores and kith.com. Pricing has yet to be announced.
