Five Menswear Drops to Shop This Weekend

From shiny satin pants to the perfect topcoat, there’s some seriously must-have menswear dropping soon.

November is here, which means we’re finally at the point where sweaters, jackets, and long-sleeves are becoming daily essentials—so it’s also a good time to make sure your closet is fully stocked with fresh autumnal threads. Thankfully, it’s a good week for cool streetwear collabs: Stussy x Sun Buddies and Nike x Patta, to be exact—not to mention Comme des Garçons’ new graphic-driven CDG sub-label. There’s also some pitch-perfect menswear on deck, including The Row’s first men’s collection and some wavy new threads from rising label Sies Marjan. Here are five drops you to shop this weekend—and start wearing while the trees still have leaves on ‘em.

Comme des Garçons CDG

Comme des Garçons, the Japanese fashion label headed by ur-auteur designer Rei Kawakubo, has many imprints—Homme Deux, Homme Plus, Man, Shirt, Play—and now the beloved brand is adding one more to the mix: CDG. (The line gets a brand-new online store to boot.) The new sub-label heavily utilizes the bold “CDG” logo across a number of jackets, hoodies, tees, and accessories. The collection is affordable (at least by Comme des Garçons standards) and stylish enough to ensure it’ll sell out quickly.

Sies Marjan

Designer Sander Lak (an alum of Dries Van Noten) has been quietly building his eponymous label on the twin foundations of fearless, flashy colors and eye-catching silhouettes. While the brand started with a focus on women’s, Lak’s recent menswear collections are no less electric and have started to steal some of the fashion spotlight: cropped satin trousers, spray-dyed wool overcoats, and velour turtleneck sweaters. So, if you’re looking to add a conversation starter of a garment to your fall wardrobe, look no further.

Nike x Patta

The Swoosh has teamed up with Amsterdam-based streetwear and sneaker boutique Patta on a collection that blends the lines between technical and casual. The mix of bold typography and patterns, performance-inspired fabrics, and laid back silhouettes makes for clothing that’s suited for athletes and hypebeasts alike. Between the red windowpane cargo pants and the graphic-heavy coach jacket, the collaboration stands out as not your average athleisure wear.

The Row

Stüssy x Sun Buddies

Stüssy is working with Swedish eyewear mavens Sun Buddies on a new sunglasses collection that will add some retro flair to your fall wardrobe. There’s three vintage-inspired Sun Buddies styles in dizzying colors and shapes with Stüssy branding. Plus, each pair of frames is handmade using high-quality acetate and Carl Zeiss lenses. The sunglasses are set to hit Stüssy’s webshop November 3, so don’t miss out.
